The only other thing that has changed is that instead of 2 'mediocre' games every month (24 over a year) with 'Gold', under Core, you'll get access to 25+ 'better' games which will 'change' over time to play. Nothing has really changed - Gold is now just Game Pass Core - a change in 'name'. Console gets games like Starfield, Forza etc Day 1 but you can't play 'online' so some content in Game Pass is unplayable. It maybe $1 difference between Core and Console - but Core doesn't get Day 1 games (like Starfield or Forza Motorsport when they release) and limited to '25' games. Game Pass Ultimate - both of these + EA Access, GP for PC/Cloud and additional perks. Game Pass 'Console' over 500 games inc Day 1 releases but 'no' online play. Game Pass 'Core' - 25 games - no Day 1 Games, but 'Online' play Only time will tell, but in the meantime, make sure you know what you're getting before you sign up! If you're already an Xbox Live Gold member, keep in mind that you'll switch to Xbox Game Pass Core automatically this September. It remains to be seen if Microsoft will add online multiplayer to the "Console" version of Game Pass eventually, but it perhaps seems more likely that it'll be scrapped in favour of "Core", "PC" and "Ultimate" as the three main subscriptions. The thing we really don't want to see is people subscribing to the wrong package assuming they'll get online multiplayer as standard. Xbox Game Pass Core offers good value for money, and Ultimate is the full package, but Console is pretty much pointless if you want to play online. Basically, Xbox Game Pass for Console seems kind of redundant at this point.
